Dance Till Dawn Edinburgh Playhouse

You always know that there are shows which you go to that you can tell are going to be a real joy to watch – and this was certainly the case with Dance Till Dawn at The Edinburgh Playhouse.

I remember interviewing Vincent Simone this time last year about the show which got stunning reviews – and was rather gutted that I didn’t get to see what it was all about – but that chance came last night and as per usual it didn’t disappoint!

I really enjoy shows which are easy to follow, and by that I mean it has a clear beginning, a middle and an end – and this show had all three of those elements in the 2 hour performance – added in with some really boppy Big Band dance music and of course lots of very high paced dancing and singing – this show really was a joy!

I usually find when going to one of these shows with so much dancing, you tend to have to focus on just one (or two) people, given that there is so much else going on around on stage – and this was very much the case with this show – a lot of high level of work went into a show like this – which really did pay off!

Staff at The Playhouse were great as always – and the seats we had were superb! Despite having two left feet, I’m now going to try my hardest to at least learn one of the dances from last night – well done to all!

Dance Till Dawn runs from the 5th until the 7th of February 2015 at Edinburgh Playhouse – a must to go and see if a fan of Strictly come Dancing, but if not a fan of Strictly – you’ll enjoy it anyway!
