Are you a carer or interested in becoming one? Carers of East Lothian is an independent charity delivering a wide range of support services to meet the needs of adult carers across the county. Carers can ask for our support directly by a self-referral or a friend, family member or a professional working with the carer can refer someone to us.
COEL are holding two free film screenings which will include the “premier” of theirr new “Carers Stories” video and a few words from Amanda Kopel – the woman behind the new “Franks Law” in memory of her husband Frank who died from dementia in 2014.
The film screenings are at the Brunton hall and are free for anyone who provides unpaid care to a friend or family member (but people must get tickets from the Brunton or the CoEL offices). Details are
