Hi my name is Allan, I have been a presenter here at East Coast FM since April 2015, and before starting at East Coast FM I was a supervisor for Menzies distribution and was previously a radio presenter for “Radio Roodlands” back in the 70’s, which then turned into “East Lothian Hospital Broadcasting Service”. I live just outside Tranent, East Lothian and I have lived here all my life. Whilst job hunting I decided I would like to give something back to this wonderful county I live in, so decided to become a volunteer at East Coast FM.
My music taste varies from 70’s pop to dance & 60’s prog rock, the first track I played on East coast fm was, Kate Bush – Running up that hill because this track reminds me of the 2012 Olympics in London, this track was played at the closing ceremony.
