The Princess Royal Training Awards is an honour for UK employers that have created lasting impact by successfully linking their skills development needs to business performance.

 

Delivered by City & Guilds Group, the awards will culminate at a prestigious awards ceremony which will take place on Thursday 2 November 2017 at St James’s Palace.

 

40 UK businesses from a wide range of sizes and sectors have achieved the Princess Royal Training Awards standard of excellence in training, in 2017. The announcement follows the adjudication of the Princess Royal Training Awards Commission, composed of seven leading figures in the business and learning & development community and HRH The Princess Royal, who is the President of the City & Guilds Group.

 

Pat Stringfellow MBE, Chair of the Princess Royal Training Awards Commission and City and Guilds of London Institute Councillor said: ‘I would like to congratulate all the successful applicants for the Princess Royal Training Awards 2017. In this second year of the Awards we have seen an increasing focus on the quality of evidence presented supporting the impact and effectiveness of training across a wide range of sectors and organisations. It is evident from the Awards that organisations across the UK recognise the key role that training and staff development play in achieving success’.
