First Outside Broadcast for East Coast on FM

In yet another ground breaking undertaking for your local Community Radio station, East Coast FM broadcast LIVE from The Haddington Town Centre Market between Noon and 3 pm on Saturday 15th June. The ECFM ‘Tech Team’ overcame a number of hurdles to make this broadcast possible, the first the station has done since launching on 107.6FM at the end of April.

Daniel Piggins hosted his ‘Afternoon Live’ show from the High Street, taking requests and ‘shoutouts’ from the large crowd attending the excellent market, no doubt encouraged out by the wonderful afternoon weather.

East Coast FM is committed to not only broadcasting to our audience in Haddington and the surrounding area, but to taking part in Community events right across the County. We don’t know of any other community station locally or nationally which gets quite so involved.
